BIG 92.7FM has added many new feathers in its cap…
First of all, BIG FM launched its 18th station in Goa, making the station the biggest private FM network in the country reaching every 5th Indian on an average. May 28th saw the official launch of the station by Governor of Goa planting a sapling as a part of ‘Green Goa, Clean Goa’ undertaken by socially responsible BIG 92.7FM. In the evening, celebration was taken to a different level with an entertaining evening at Marriott, Goa.
It was a house-full event, with the venue filled chock-o-block and live band performing guests’ favourite music & making them dance throughout the evening. Every powerful and influential Goan attended the party & especially came to wish the dedicated team of BIG 92.7 FM Goa, heartiest congratulations. Ms. Manisha Tripathi, Station Head, BIG FM Goa, was visibly happy with the much-awaited launch of the station & attended each of the guests personally like a perfect hostess.
Celebration for BIG 92.7FM does not end here… BIG FM has become the only Indian radio station to reach the final segment of New York Festivals (NYF) Radio Broadcasting Awards 2007. The radio station has been short-listed in four categories. These include Best Sports Coverage for ‘Big Cup coverage’; Best Personality: Local Market for RJ Aniruddh Chawla-Aniruddh LLB; Best Writing and Station Promotion for the ‘HUM BIG 92.7 Promo’.
Its commendable that BIG 92.7FM managed to achieve so much in such a short span of time. The station has definitely lived upto its name & surely will continue to reach many more heights in future.
