BIG AIDS AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

BIG 92.7 FM, in association with Heroes Project India has initiated a week long HIV and AIDS awareness campaign starting today to keep the public informed about the reality, myths and misconceptions about HIV and AIDS. The Campaign which will be carried out both on-air and on-ground will focus on spreading the right information and will urge people to stop discrimination towards HIV infected patients.

In terms of on-air promotions, BIG 92.7 FM will air eight questions related to HIV and AIDS everyday and listeners need to SMS their answers to 55454. The right answers for the questions will be given by an HIV infected person the next day who will also explain the reality about HIV and AIDS. On-ground it will be RJ YO YO who will go across to various locations and interact with people and ask them questions about HIV and AIDS and he will also hand out various literature related to HIV and AIDS to the people.

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION AT BIG FM

BIG 92.7 FM, today celebrated Children’s day in an interesting way by inviting few “special children” from Athmaseva institute to its studio to host a live on-air show along with RJ Speed Dheena in BIG Vanakkam show. The children enjoyed interacting with Speed Dheena who asked them various questions about their hobbies, interests and ambitions etc. the kids also sang the songs they like

BIG 92.7 FM CELEBRATES DIWALI IN AN UNIQUE WAY

BIG 92.7 FM, Chennai kick started its Diwali celebration in a unique way by entertaining senior citizens of Little sisters of poor home for the aged. Adding sparkle to their lives on this festive occasion was S Ve Sekar and his son Ashwin (Kollywood star) along with RJs of BIG 92.7 FM.

Living up to its brandline of Kekkalam Pesalam Life kondadalam! BIG 92.7 FM organized a fun-filled and a memorable day for these senior citizens. The evening began with RJs of BIG 92.7 FM entertaining the senior citizens followed by interaction and sweet distribution by S Ve Sekar.

PLAYBACK SINGER “UNNI MENON” AT BIG FM OFFICE

Listeners of BIG 92.7 FM’s BIG Vanakkam show had a surprise treat today as famous playback singer Unni Menon co-hosted the show with RJ Speed Dheena. Unni Menon enthusiastically answered all the questions asked by RJ Dheena especially when asked as to what he would do if he finds Rs 1000 on the ground he creatively answered that he will buy “Ghazal” cds. Unni Menon also sang a song titled “kannu ku mai azhagu” from Pudiya Mugam exclusively for the listeners of BIG Vanakkam.
